Sunday, October 25, 2009Rockslide could take several months to clean upRALEIGH — Interstate 40 is closed at mile marker 2.6 in North Carolina, near the Tennessee state line, due to a rockslide that occurred just after 2 a.m. today. The N.C. Department of Transportation has made an emergency declaration and has a contractor en route to begin clean up.
